Heading Down the Right Lane
3rd ANNUAL BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA
Wednesday June 8th, 2011, 6:00 P.M.
NEB’s Fun World, 1300 Wilson Road North, Oshawa

The 3rd Annual Bowling Extravaganza was a fun filled evening at NEB’s Fun World in Oshawa. Youth and community members, police officers from the Durham Regional Police participated in the Bowling Tournament.

Each team consisted of both cops and kids competing against each other in the elimination style tournament. The two final teams battled it out not only for the winner’s trophy, but also got to play the Chief of Police Team. After beating the elite team the winning team walked away with the satisfaction of claiming bragging rights.

The individual that raised the most money won a flat screen television. This prize was made possible thanks to the officers who pitched in for the donation. Special thanks were given at the end of the evening to the title sponsor the Progress Club and all the companies and individuals that helped. Everyone went home with a huge smile on their face. We cannot wait until next year!

ProAction Cops & Kids is a charity that funds programs, developed and run by Durham police officers, to reach youth in our communities. Our goal is to build mutual trust and respect between cops and kids, breaking down stereotypes and improving the safety of our communities for everyone.
