32 Division – Shoot Videos Not Guns Program
“Smoking” – a Fleming Films Production.
Assisted by a teacher at Sir Sanford Fleming Academy, a 32 Division Toronto Police officer gave students an opportunity to make positive videos dealing with difficult issues. The kids really took the initiative addressing such topical subjects as: violence, bullying, student safety, drugs, alcohol, identity theft and as in the above video – smoking.
54 Division – ProAction Hockey League
Every Sunday for seven months, Police officers from 54 Division serve as mentors and coaches for 128 youth aged 8-11 who participate in a ProAction funded Hockey League in Toronto’s Flemingdon Park neighbourhood. – October 2010
Hamilton Police Service – The Journey 2008
Officers from the Hamilton Police Service recently took a group of at-risk native youth on an adventure-filled canoe trip down Ontario’s scenic Grand River. Each youth was paired up with an officer and together they navigated the river from Paris to Brantford. – September 2008
51 Division – Toronto Oxmen Football Program
ProAction is proud to fund the Toronto Oxmen Football program which provides youth in the high-risk Regent Park neighbourhood of Toronto with the opportunity to learn football skills and play competitively in the South Central Ontario Football League. – September 2008
Community Mobilization Unit - Toronto Opera Program
Toronto Police officers introduced kids to opera at the Wellesley Community Centre where they learned about operatic performance and production: voice, drama, movement and design, concluding with an ensemble performance. – Sept. 2008

31 Division – Wrestling Program
Toronto Police officers serve as wrestling coaches and mentors for students at Toronto’s Westview Centennial Secondary School in another fine program funded by ProAction. – April 2008
54 Division – Danforth Tech. Overhauled
ProAction is happy to fund the Danforth Tech. Overhauled program. Through this program high school students are working together with a Toronto Police officer to restore a 1973 Chevrolet Laguna S3. – April 2008
