“Snow Patrol: Ski & Snowboard Program”

This past winter, PC Niruban Ganeshalingam from the Public Safety Response Team (PSRT) organized several police-youth ski and snowboard outings to the scenic Mount St. Louis Moonstone Ski Resort just north of Barrie.

Officer Ganeshalingam along with a team of officers and fellow ski enthusiasts introduced kids from Amesbury Public School to skiing and snowboarding fundamentals followed by an exciting ski trip to the slopes of Mount St. Louis Moonstone to hone their skills. Some youth who were already experienced skiers took on leadership roles joining police officers in teaching new skills along with skiing and winter safety.
