✨️ ProAction Program Feature ✨️ The Dorset Park Neighbourhood Kickboxing Program, led by PC Shawn Brown, engages 14 youth from the Scarborough community. Youth participants attend a 2-hour boxing class each session where officers work alongside youth to help them develop their skills. Officers also host various workshops for youth participants, including financial literacy, wellness & nutrition, first aid & CPR. Without YOUR SUPPORT, mentorship and skill programs like this would not be possible! Cops and kids from our Durham Chapter had a great time celebrating the end of the curling program with @drps_official Community Policing for North Durham. Curling teaches kids and youth teamwork, communication, problem-solving, sportsmanship, physical coordination, focus, and adaptability, not to mention the benefits of physical activities. "Members of the @hamiltonpoliceontario, alongside @COPSandKIDSca , extended an invitation to a group of girls from the #HamOnt community to tour Hamilton Police station, meet and greet with different officers throughout the service, engage in arts and crafts, enjoy a delicious pizza lunch, and later, they cheered on @TorontoRockLax in what many are calling the game of the season!"
