Fourteen young women completed the 10-week ProAction Female Kickboxing program last month, building strength, discipline, and confidence through training. The graduation ceremony celebrated their commitment and growth. Each participant earned their certificate after intensive training. Thank you to Stacey Rodriguez, Marva Williams, Toronto Police 41 Division, parents, and ECC for making this program possible. Thanks to Jameel for capturing these moments. Project Arrowhead is a ProAction-funded program with the goal of providing youth from the Dorset Park, Kennedy Park, and Oakridge communities a unique opportunity to empower themselves by building confidence through sport, learning life skills, and developing positive relationships with their communities and the police. Youth take part in a weekly session with TPS members that includes both an educational and a fitness component, including basketball, boxing, and weightlifting. We are excited to see this season start. Thanks, Coach Jin, for your guidance on what this season's goal is for youth. ProAction Hockey League wrapped up another season! For many kids, this league is their only chance to play organized hockey; learning the game, building skills, and getting ice time they wouldn't have otherwise. Youth showed up every week, worked hard, and made it a season to remember. Big month for youth programs in our Toronto chapter. Thank you to @greenbrookblue for the look behind the scenes. ProAction Hockey League ran for 16 weeks with 40 kids learning the game. The March Break community skate brought youth to the ice, and March Break Tennis introduced kids from Mount Dennis Baptist to the sport.
