ProAction Hockey League wrapped up another season! For many kids, this league is their only chance to play organized hockey; learning the game, building skills, and getting ice time they wouldn't have otherwise. Youth showed up every week, worked hard, and made it a season to remember. Thanks to the officers who run the league and to ProAction supporters who make it possible—whether through corporate sponsorships, monthly donations, event support, or simply sharing our posts. Big month for youth programs in our Toronto chapter. Thank you to @greenbrookblue for the look behind the scenes. ProAction Hockey League ran for 16 weeks with 40 kids learning the game. The March Break community skate brought youth to the ice, and March Break Tennis introduced kids from Mount Dennis Baptist to the sport. Thank you to PC Mak, PC Chan, De Angelis, PC Benyi, and Sabino for organizing these programs, and to our supporters for making them possible. The Stone Soup Cooking Club, with @12div_neighbourhood and @12_division officers, brought youth together to learn kitchen skills, creating Cajun chicken with rice from simple ingredients found at home. Programs like this build confidence in the kitchen while forming connections that last beyond the sessions. Youth learned to prepare meals they could make on their own, developing skills that will serve them for life. Congratulations on earning their G1 licenses through Steering In The Right Direction ProAction program! This program combines driver education with mentorship, helping young people build the skills for safe driving. Beyond passing the test, participants learn responsibility and decision-making that will serve them on and off the road. Project Arrowhead empowers youth in Scarborough through sports and opportunities, run by Toronto Police 41 Division Neighbourhood Community Office. Boxing teaches fitness and discipline; skills that extend far beyond the ring.
